The United States U19 team that will compete in Finland this summer, took on a Long Island All-Star team and defeated them 12-4. US Lacrosse magazine covered the event and had many nice things to say about Michael Tagliaferri, who scored two goals in the game.
Money quote: "
...the U19 teams reaction to Tagliaferri's second goal, a rocket from in front of the cage, was familiar in any language: A team-wide whoop of awe."
