NorCal's ADVNC wins 2013 Adrenaline Challenge

Adrenaline Challenge Elite victors, ADVNC

NorCal's ADVNC team won the Adrenaline Challenge this past weekend, defeating Lax Dawgs Brown in the Championship game of the Elite Division. They prevailed, 11-5. You can read a write-up by Inside Lacrosse here.

2012 Under Armour West team 2-2: not in playoffs

West on offense

The 2012 Under Armour UnderClassmen (UAUC) games are underway in Baltimore. Seven NorCal guys are on this team. Through Pool play, they ended with a 2-2 record. They did not make the playoffs, since the other contenders have defeated the West team in head-to-head play. Nonetheless, they have acquitted themselves well and they represented the Western States nicely. Seven of the 24 members of the West UAUC team are from NorCal. Here they are:

Northern California Chapter of US Lacrosse Names Boy’s High School All Americans

SAN FRANCISCO – After a rigorous evaluation process, fifteen Bay Area high school lacrosse players have been named as US Lacrosse High School All-Americans. Players, who are nominated by their coaches and supported by their respective leagues, were voted on by a committee of Northern California lacrosse coaches and league representatives that included one representative from each League in Northern California and the NCJLA.

Their talents on the field further display the continued growth of the sport of lacrosse in our region. These young men earned the respect of their teammates, opponents and coaches. Many of these players have Division I college commitments from schools like North Carolina, Princeton, Penn State, Yale and Duke and we wish them well in their college careers. We are equally proud of our Academic All American's who represent both outstanding lacrosse and the best and brightest in their respective classrooms."
